The cold pressing method has no external heat and no external heat is applied during the extraction of oil, it helps to retain the oils full nutritional value and natural properties. This method is considered healthier than conventional heat extraction methods, as it avoids the degradation of essential fatty acids and vitamins.

How does a cold pressed mustard oil machine work?

Cold pressed oil machine basically works on the principle of mechanical extraction of oil from the seeds or nuts using high pressure and not using heat. This type of extraction is done by only cold pressed oil machines. This processes involves several steps such as
Preparation of seed:
The seeds such as mustard, sesame, or sunflower are cleaned and sometimes slightly cracked to make the extraction process easier. No heating is done at this stage.
Loading the seeds:
The seeds are collected and loaded into a cold press machine These machines mostly consist of a cylindrical chamber which is similar to a filter with a screw hydraulic press mechanism.
Pressing Mechanism:
This mechanism consists of a process in which mechanical pressure is applied to the seeds, which causes the oil to be squeezed out. The pressure is applied slowly, and because no heat is involved, it’s called “cold pressing.”
Oil separation: The oil which is extracted is now flowed out of the cold pressed oil machine using a filter which removes the residue which is called oil cake.
Oil Filtration and Bottling: The oil is usually filtered to remove any remaining impurities or particles. After filtration, the cold-pressed oil is packed in bottles, ready for use.
